In case you haven't heard...

Jon will be assigned to the USS Reagan coming up this December. We will all be leaving our paradise-3 year vacation in about 1 month. The kids and I will fly into California, and stay with my sister for a few days, maybe a week...depends on how much work will be done on my Dad's car...meanwhile, Jon will head to San Antonio for 1 month of training...the boys and I will make our way to Salt Lake and meet Jon there the first weekend of November. We will stay there for most of the time. AFTER Thanksgiving (probably Saturday) we will drive back to Concord and Jon will jump on a flight to San Diego. He has to report to his command by 3 December. We will wait at my sister's while he gets us into a house. There's the story...

Junior Sailor of the Year 2007

Jon was selected as the Junior Sailor of the year for 2007!!!

He was given a NAM (Navy Achivement Medal) a nice plaque from PMRF and certificates.
(The Captain is fine, he had surgery on his shoulder...)
Jon was also given a 2 night hotel stay at Lawai Resort ($600 value) and a check for $250 from the Navy League...pretty fun stuff.

Easter in Hawaii

Keith and Cindy and their family came to Hawaii to visit. It was so much fun to visit with our family that we don't get to see very often and get acquainted with Catherine, Stockton, Andrea, and Charley. We missed Crystal and Eric, though. Carter and Caleb loved having Charley come and hang out. Carter wants to work on his tennis and basketball skills now, so he can play Stockton and Uncle Keith again. Kendall loved having Uncle Keith carry him around, and Andrea playing with him...
